I Forgot I Had It #2 Red Sox Ruth

This is a 2007 UD Masterpieces.

Its my only George Herman Ruth card as a member of the Beantown team.

Of course he played for the Braves too when they were still in Boston.

In my Opinion 2007 is head and shoulders above 2008 Masterpieces.

And back then Ruth was one of the best pitchers.

As such on the back of this cards are pitching stats for "The Sultan of Swat"

Was Ruth really drunk playing? With his numbers and spring training antics, I feel he was sober during season however in the off season he was gone!

Youkilis, went to the evil empire to cover for A-Rod, he's not a back up guy, he's a fine 3rd baseman, if your fantasy league has OBP or BB he's a steal at $4. Of course Will Middlebrooks will be more popular with his youth, but it's his first full year, both will have more value than their average draft pick value.

As for Aoki he's old enough & capitalized on an injury or two, keep an eye on him & Corey Hart at milwaukee.
