Born in 1898 Terry played in the first All Star Game, and won the 1933 World Series as Player / Manager.

He was the 1930 NL Batting Champion & has his #3 retired now in San Francisco as of 1984.

"Memphis Bill" was elected to the Hall in 1954 and called up to the heavens in 1989.

Also sweet numbered /99.
